Product description
The bubbling humidifier is used in oxygen therapy to humidify the oxygen breathed by the patient; it is connected downstream of the flowmeter by means of a threaded nut; it is a non-active class IIa medical device, supplied non-sterile; the containment vessel has a maximum capacity of 300 cc, biocompatible in accordance with ISO 10993-1, with a polypropylene or metal cap and a hose-end outlet; the humidifier (vessel, cap, O-ring and silicone tube, excluding the diffuser) can be sterilized in an autoclave for a maximum of 100 cycles of 18 min each at 121°C or 100 cycles of 10 min each at 126°C or 85 cycles of 4 min each at 134°C, after rinsing; validated procedure, in accordance with ISO 17664-2 and ISO 17665 by an accredited laboratory (test report no. 26VA00449).
